What's Happening at Church of The CrossThis Month:Mother's Day DinnerSunday May 11th at 4:30 pm at the church. Men’s Ministries will be hosting an elegant dinner to honor all the ladies of the church for Mother’s Day. Women’s Ministry Tea "Lavender and Lace"Saturday, May 17th at 1:00 pm. The annual women's ministry spring luncheon promises to be an uplifting event with a chance to enjoy some good food and fellowship. All ladies are invited, child care will be provided for 5 years and under. Coming Soon:4th Annual Motor ShowSaturday, June 7th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Sponsored by Men's Ministry, the event will host a number of great-looking cars, trucks and other vehicles. In addition, there will be a tri-tip dinner, a raffle and live music. Ongoing:Sunday School Classes:Sunday School for all ages begins at 11:00 am each Sunday, after the worship service. The last class will be on May 25th, and will resume September 7th after the summer break.
AWANA Adult Bible StudyWednesday Evening Bible StudyMeeting at 6:15 pm to 8:00 pm, all adults are invited looking for mid-week inspirational teaching. The schedule also runs concurrently with Awana.
Women's Bible StudyThursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 am.All ladies are welcome to join in for a weekly encouraging, uplifting time of prayer, Bible Study and fellowship. Women's Ministry is currently studying "Bad Girls of the Bible" by Liz Curtis Higgs, through the end of May. Men's GroupSaturday mornings from 8:00 to 9:30 amAll men are invited to participate in a Bible Study, be encouraged and become accountable. Men's Group is now studying 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 through "A Measure of a Man" by Gene Getz. Tom Caudell and Barry Berkey are the contacts for more information. |
